When Energy Meets Supercomputing: Collaboration with IPEEK<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On March 20, we met in Nitra with representatives of the Ipe\u013e Energy and Environmental Cluster<\/a> (IPEEK). Cie\u013eom stretnutia bolo identifikova\u0165 mo\u017enosti spolupr\u00e1ce pri vyu\u017eit\u00ed vysokov\u00fdkonnej v\u00fdpo\u010dtovej infra\u0161trukt\u00fary (HPC) na podporu projektov v oblasti energetiky, obnovite\u013en\u00fdch zdrojov a environment\u00e1lnych inov\u00e1ci\u00ed. Rozpr\u00e1vali sme sa o viacer\u00fdch mo\u017enostiach spolupr\u00e1ce, ktor\u00e9 by mohli spoji\u0165 odborn\u00e9 kapacity klastra s v\u00fdpo\u010dtov\u00fdmi technol\u00f3giami a infra\u0161trukt\u00farou, ktor\u00fa pon\u00fakame. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Venovali sme sa najm\u00e4 t\u00e9mam spojen\u00fdm s energetikou, obnovite\u013en\u00fdmi zdrojmi a \u017eivotn\u00fdm prostred\u00edm \u2013 a tomu, ako m\u00f4\u017ee spracovanie ve\u013ek\u00e9ho mno\u017estva d\u00e1t pom\u00f4c\u0165 pri efekt\u00edvnej\u0161om pl\u00e1novan\u00ed, rozhodovan\u00ed \u010di v\u00fdvoji inovat\u00edvnych rie\u0161en\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also discussed how joint projects could contribute to education and support the younger generation of professionals. Working with real data, simulations, and modern technologies offers students and young experts a valuable opportunity to expand their knowledge and gain hands-on experience that can help them thrive in the rapidly changing world of energy and environmental science.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both sides expressed interest in identifying specific areas where our collaboration could grow \u2014 whether in research, development, or educational activities. The discussions reflected a strong interest in innovation and openness to technology, creating a solid foundation for a meaningful partnership.\n\nWe agreed to continue our cooperation and to facilitate access to the Devana supercomputer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This collaboration is very important to us \u2014 it represents a significant step toward innovation in the field of sustainable energy and opens up new opportunities for regional development as well as for supporting a talented younger generation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
