How can high-performance computing support innovation? We presented to students at the University of Economics<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We had the opportunity to participate in a class at the University of Economics in Bratislava, where we presented to students of the Faculty of Commerce as part of the course Product and Innovation. Our topic was: \u201cThe Use of HPC in Innovation Processes and Product Development.\u201d\n High-Performance Computing (HPC) is no longer the exclusive domain of research institutions or scientific centers. It is increasingly being applied in everyday business practice\u2014especially in areas where large volumes of data need to be processed, complex processes simulated, or the time required for new product development reduced.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s why the goal of our lecture was to show students how HPC technologies can practically support innovation in business\u2014across various sectors, from manufacturing and healthcare to energy and the automotive industry.\n\nThe lecture also included an open discussion, during which we explored with the students specific ways HPC can be applied\u2014ranging from optimizing production processes and predictive modeling of consumer behavior to developing sustainable products.\n\nWe also shared case studies demonstrating how HPC gives companies a competitive edge\u2014whether through cost savings, reduced time requirements, or improved output quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re very pleased to see the students\u2019 active interest in modern technologies and their connection to business. We believe that expert lectures like this can help young people better understand current trends, broaden their horizons, and gain inspiration for their further studies or future career paths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
