NSCC Launches Collaboration with Slovak Academy of Sciences<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

V utorok 6. m\u00e1ja 2025 sa stretli z\u00e1stupcovia N\u00e1rodn\u00e9ho superpo\u010d\u00edta\u010dov\u00e9ho centra, \u00dastavu polym\u00e9rov Slovenskej akad\u00e9mie vied a Fyzik\u00e1lneho \u00fastavu Slovenskej akad\u00e9mie vied. Stretnutia sa z\u00fa\u010dastnili Lucia Mal\u00ed\u010dkov\u00e1 (N\u00e1rodn\u00e9 superpo\u010d\u00edta\u010dov\u00e9 centrum), Du\u0161an Ra\u010dko a Zdeno \u0160pitalsk\u00fd (\u00dastav polym\u00e9rov SAV) a Adri\u00e1na Hvizdo\u0161ov\u00e1 Annu\u0161ov\u00e1 (Fyzik\u00e1lny \u00fastav SAV). Hlavn\u00fdm cie\u013eom stretnutia bolo nadviazanie spolupr\u00e1ce a otvorenie dial\u00f3gu o konkr\u00e9tnych form\u00e1ch podpory, ktor\u00fa m\u00f4\u017eu N\u00e1rodn\u00e9 superpo\u010d\u00edta\u010dov\u00e9 centrum a N\u00e1rodn\u00e9 kompeten\u010dn\u00e9 centrum pre vysokov\u00fdkonn\u00e9 po\u010d\u00edtanie poskytn\u00fa\u0165 v\u00fdskumn\u00fdm pracovisk\u00e1m Slovenskej akad\u00e9mie vied.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The discussion focused primarily on facilitating effective access to cutting-edge computing infrastructure and leveraging expert know-how in the fields of high-performance computing, data analytics, and artificial intelligence. The National Supercomputing Centre thus acts not only as a technical partner but also as a strategic intermediary between research institutions and modern tools of digital science, helping to ensure more efficient use of computational resources in addressing complex interdisciplinary research challenges.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

K\u013e\u00fa\u010dov\u00fdm bodom stretnutia bola pr\u00edprava spolo\u010dn\u00e9ho projektu, ktor\u00fd bude realizovan\u00fd na n\u00e1rodnej v\u00fdskumnej infra\u0161trukt\u00fare Devana, ktor\u00e1 je prev\u00e1dzkovan\u00e1 V\u00fdpo\u010dtov\u00fdm strediskom SAV. Po\u010das stretnutia so z\u00e1stupcami SAV sme diskutovali o anal\u00fdze \u0161trukt\u00farnych vlastnost\u00ed technick\u00fdch tkan\u00edn s cie\u013eom lep\u0161ie porozumie\u0165 ich  spr\u00e1vaniu v \u0161pecifick\u00fdch podmienkach. Projekt prirodzene prep\u00e1ja odborn\u00e9 kapacity z oblasti polym\u00e9rnych a biologick\u00fdch materi\u00e1lov, fyzik\u00e1lnych analytick\u00fdch met\u00f3d a v\u00fdpo\u010dtovej techniky \u2013 a predstavuje uk\u00e1\u017ekov\u00fd pr\u00edklad interdisciplin\u00e1rneho pr\u00edstupu k rie\u0161eniu komplexn\u00fdch vedeck\u00fdch ot\u00e1zok.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This type of collaboration also reflects the long-term vision of the National Supercomputing Centre: to build a network of expert partnerships aimed at supporting science, research, and innovation in Slovakia, creating opportunities for knowledge and technology transfer, and strengthening the competitiveness of Slovak research institutions within the European research area. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
