Hosťkou podujatia bola Lucia Malíčková, projektová koordinátorka v Národnom superpočítačovom centre a Národnom kompetenčnom centre pre vysokovýkonné počítanie (HPC). Študentom priblížila svoju profesijnú cestu, skúsenosti z práce na medzinárodných projektoch a možnosti, ktoré prináša práca v oblasti superpočítačov, umelej inteligencie a digitálnych technológií.

Prednáška ponúkla študentom praktický pohľad na to, prečo sa oplatí budovať si vlastnú kariérnu cestu už počas štúdia, ako sa zapájať do projektov a aké príležitosti ponúka dynamicky sa rozvíjajúca oblasť digitálnych technológií.

Podujatie sa uskutočnilo 10. marca 2026 na Obchodnej fakulte EUBA a bolo organizované v spolupráci s odborníkmi z praxe s cieľom prepájať akademické prostredie s aktuálnymi trendmi v technológiách a inováciách.

AI and Supercomputers in Practice: A Lecture for TUKE Students 13 Mar - On 5 March 2026, an expert lecture by Dr. Lucia Malíčková from the National Supercomputing Centre (NSCC) took place at the Technical University of Košice (TUKE), titled “Can Supercomputers and Artificial Intelligence Be Useful?”. The event was held in lecture hall PK7 in a hybrid format (both online and in person) and was attended by 110 TUKE students.
