The workshop will take place in person in Slovakia and participants will have the opportunity to gain a comprehensive theoretical overview and practical experience with quantum Monte Carlo methods and their molecular (Quantum Package and CHAMP codes) and periodic systems (TurboRVB). The lectures and trainings will be led by experts who are part of the European Center of Excellence TREX.
Main goals:
- Provide participants a general overview of QMC foundations and their adaptation to simulations of molecular and periodic systems.
- Provide an overview of the hot current topics in molecular, crystalline and low-dimensional systems.
- Provide hands-on experience with practical QMC simulations based on CHAMP and TurboRVB simulation codes.
Registration will be open soon!

How to Communicate Science and Technology Effectively: Our Team’s Experience 22 Aug - Our team has long been dedicated not only to the development of high-performance computing, but also to the effective communication of the results and opportunities we bring to industry, academia, and the next generation of researchers. We consider this a key part of our work – a modern scientific and technological institution today cannot operate in isolation but must be able to clearly and transparently communicate the value and impact of its activities.
