Supercomputers for Business – Article in the SOPK Monthly

V najnovšom čísle mesačníka Slovenskej obchodnej a priemyselnej komory (SOPK) sme predstavili, ako technológie High Performance Computing (HPC) a služby Národného superpočítačového centra pomáhajú slovenským firmám inovovať, urýchliť vývoj a získať konkurenčnú výhodu. Superpočítače už dávno nie sú výlučne nástrojom akademickej sféry – dnes zohrávajú kľúčovú úlohu aj v priemysle, zdravotníctve, energetike či automobilovom sektore. V článku približujeme konkrétne príklady z praxe a ukazujeme, ako sa výpočtový výkon superpočítača využíva pri riešení reálnych výziev firiem.
